I wasn't aware (dumb me) of Oh's depth. You can either watch it in the wee hours of the morning or wait till anytime tomorrow to watch. Seward is an unkind host to surprise visitors.Sarah and Holder catch up to the latest victim. I loved seeing women written this way....as people. While Eve & Bill chase up leads, Villanelle enjoys the cat-and-mouse of their proximity.Intel from Berlin points to the existence of a mole. The dialogue is superb but more so, the slow unfolding of story, maybe not slow, but gently astounding. Kirby Howell-Baptiste is so droll. Overall it did not fully live up to the critics' and award ceremony 'hype'.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 2, 2019.This series is a breath of fresh air, with a fabulous cast.
Every single character. If you haven't watched it yet--this is a great series! The guards offer Seward motivation to comply with orders.Bullet bloodhounds for Sarah and Holder, racing to find a victim on the run before someone else does. The season is almost over, but the depth of the main characters still hasn't been fully revealed. Everyone, for as long as they last, anyway.
Made even worse by awful background music. Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are astonishing. The worst thing is I have 2 copies! The Killing is AMAZING TELEVISION.

But Villanelle hasn't finished with Eve.An assassin is taken into custody in Russia, and Eve and Carolyn head to Moscow to negotiate access. I have now watched this four times, twice when available on i-player, and twice on dvd. Both tasked with the same deadly mission: Find Her.When a Russian politician is murdered, MI5 security officer Eve finds herself on a collision course with an assassin, Villanelle.Villanelle is ordered to take a break, but goes ahead with her next mission.

There are quite a few stunning surprises and a shocking finale.Watch this....you will not regret it! Seward comes face to face with his past. Ad it just got worse over the course of the series. There is so much room for the characters to still evolve, grow, and intertwine. The scripting, directing, and acting are all great. Great humour and menace all rolled into one.
